| Background: |
Liz has been teaching flute, clarinet & saxophone for over 20 years in schools and in her private studio.
Many students have successfully completed A.M.E.B. exams, VCE solo and group performance. Other students have chosen to learn in a more popular style, sometimes including using CD's and backing tracks.
Liz has had many years experience in conducting beginning bands and more advanced groups. Her bands have continually achieved Siver and Gold awards at the Melbourne School Bands Festival.
Liz was invited to be a guest conductor for the Regional School Concert at the Melbourne Concert Hall and has also been a guest conductor in Queensland and New Zealand.
Woodwind Ensembles and junior Jazz ensembles have also been a busy area of her music life.
She was Director of Music at Upper Yarra S.C.for over 15 years where she ran a very successful and exciting music program.
Liz has involved her students in competitions with very successful results and has travelled with bands and ensembles both interstate and overseas. |

Liz enjoys spending time with her family,reading, walking and spending as much time as she can at the beach!!

Liz likes to keep in touch with all aspects of music teaching, performance and music technology. She is currently the music co-ordinator and woodwind teacher at Healesville High School and also teaches at Badger Creek Primary School. |
